Terms of Service

This is a plain-language template for a product in development — not legal advice. Have it reviewed before launch.

These terms are an agreement between you and Lino for use of the Lino app and website (the “Service”). By using Lino, you agree to them.

1. Using Lino

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use Lino. You’re responsible for the activity in your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses a one-time code.

2. Accounts & shared homes

A “home” is a shared space with one owner and its members. The owner can invite or remove members and manage the home. Members can add and edit tasks and rooms, and can leave at any time. Content you add to a shared home is visible to its members.

3. Premium & billing

Lino is free to start. Premium unlocks sharing, unlimited tasks and rooms, and additional features.
Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically until cancelled.
You can cancel anytime in your store account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their policies.

4. Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the Service — including attempting to break or overload it, accessing data that isn’t yours, or using Lino to harass others or share unlawful content.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited licence to store and display it as needed to run the Service (for example, syncing it to your home’s members).

6. Termination

You can stop using Lino and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.

7. Disclaimers

Lino is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable but can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lino is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
